Often I attend conferences and fairs to present my research on cruise tourism. Often, delegates approach me and ask me “how come do we not know you?”. Given my 15-year-long conference keynote and publication activity in the very specialised domain of cruise tourism, this question is worth reflecting on. Scientific papers, books and conference proceedings are not optimally predisposed to spread ideas and messages; but essential for justifiying and solidifying them. In which case, scientific research can be complemented by ‘Clip Bites’ in YouTube and other social platforms. In this page, I have added (and will continue to do so!) some key messages and ideas related to my research in tourism and cruises.
